One of the most damaging misconceptions in today’s corporate thinking is that constant change is not only inevitable but also desirable in itself. The message is consistent, and on paper it sounds inspiring. The problem is that it ignores basic human biology — and the bill for that oversight is coming due in the form of burnout, quiet quitting, and rising absenteeism.
