Szent Bartolo Longo, a rózsafüzér apostola

Magyarkurir 2026-10-05 09:01:07 |

Az Egyház október 5-én emlékezik Bartolo Longóra. II. János Pál pápa, amikor 1980-ban boldoggá avatta, „Mária emberének” nevezte őt. Az olasz férfi ötven évig dolgozott – ahogyan ő mondta – „a Hölgyéért”. Ám nagyon nagy utat járt be addig, amíg Rózsafüzér Királynője tiszteletének terjesztőjévé vált. XIV. Leó pápa 2025. október 19-én, a rózsafüzér hónapjában a szentek közé iktatta őt.
