Első alkalommal érkezett Romániába Assisi Szent Ferenc ereklyéje

Szent Ferenc halálának 800. évfordulóján első alkalommal érkezett csontereklyéje Romániába. A szent földi maradványait egy mellszobor alakú ereklyetartó őrzi, amely a zarándoklat teljes ideje alatt megtekinthető. Augusztus 2-ig Nagyvárad, 4-ig Kolozsvár, majd 5–6. között Kisjenő, 7-én Arad, 9-ig Nagybánya, végül 11–12-én Borsabánya fogadja a relikviát, amely októberben is az országban marad.
