"It is with a sad heart that we announce that, according to the decision of the management of the Order of St. Basil the Great, the monastic community ended its service in the Máriapócs monastery on March 31," read the statement published by the Greek Catholic Metropolis on May 11, on the website of the Archdiocese of Hajdúdorog.
