Elszabadultak az üzemanyagárak a világban: dollármilliárdokat spórolnak az elektromos autók

Az elektromos autók mintegy 200 millió hordónyi nyersolaj elfogyasztását, ezáltal pedig hozzávetőleg 20 milliárd dollárt takarítottak meg az olajimportáló országoknak az Egyesült Államok és Izrael Irán ellen indított háborújának kezdete óta, és a járműállomány villamosítása egyéb előnyökkel is. A tisztán elektromos meghajtású autók népszerűsége világszerte tovább növekszik, a támogató szabályozási környezet és a technológia költségeinek csökkenése mellett részben a közel-keleti válság hatására - áll az EMBER nevű think tank elemzésében. Az akkumulátoros elektromos járművek használata már a Hormuzi-krízis előtt is költségmegtakarítást jelentett, ez az előny pedig tovább nőtt, és a helyzetet tovább súlyosbítja a dízel és más finomított termékek ellátási válsága.
