Megszólalt a Roszatom Paks II-ről, van egy komoly probléma

Befagytak a tárgyalások a Roszatom és a Magyar Péter vezette kormány között a Paks II. beruházásáról, jelentette ki Alekszej Lihacsov, az orosz állami vállalat vezérigazgatója Moszkvában. Hozzátette, hogy a magyar fél még a projekt átvilágításán dolgozik, a mintegy 408–410 millió eurós gyártási program viszont tovább folyik, és a teljesített szakaszokat a magyar megrendelő rendszeresen kifizeti. A kormány által elrendelt felülvizsgálat azt is vizsgálja, hogy egyáltalán szükség van-e az új atomerőműre, eredménye év végére vagy 2027 elejére várható. Kapitány István energetikai miniszter szerint Paks II. legkorábban 2034–2035 körül készülhet el, ezért a kormány a jelenlegi blokkok üzemidejének meghosszabbítását is mérlegeli. A bizonytalanságot tovább növelik az emelkedő költségek és a dunai alacsony vízállás miatti hűtési kockázatok.
