Trump olcsóbb dízelt akar, a világ fizetheti meg az árát

Befektetői körökben hetek óta téma, hogy a választások előtt korlátozza-e a dízelexportot a Trump-adminisztráció, ahogyan azt néhány republikánus képviselő szorgalmazza. Trump és kormánya vezető tisztségviselőinek nyilatkozatai alapján Washington már komolyan mérlegeli a beavatkozást. Szóba jöhet egy 45–90 napos teljes exporttilalom, illetve a kivitel részleges, kötelező vagy önkéntes visszafogása is. A kormányzat népszerűségi problémái mellett kevésbé valószínű, hogy végül semmilyen intézkedés nem születik. Az exportkorlátozás ráadásul még mindig észszerűbbnek tűnik több eddig felvetett népszerűségnövelő ötletnél, például az 5000 dolláros Trump-osztaléknál. Összességében a napi 300–500 ezer hordós exportcsökkentést célzó részleges korlátozás látszik a legvalószínűbbnek, ami tovább emelheti a globális dízelárakat.
