Trump-szorosnak nevezi a Hormuzi-szorost az amerikai elnök

Irán ragaszkodik a Hormuzi-szoros újranyitásával kapcsolatos feltételeihez – jelentette ki Abbász Aragcsi iráni külügyminiszter, hangsúlyozva, hogy Teherán nem fordít hátat a diplomáciának, de jogaiból sem enged. Irán Katar közvetítésével terjesztette elő javaslatát a szoros egy héten belüli megnyitására, amelyet azonban Donald Trump amerikai elnök elutasított, sőt a Hormuzi-szorost "Trump-szoros" néven szerepeltette egy közzétett térképen. Teherán az újranyitásért cserébe többek között a tengeri blokád feloldását és az iráni olajexportra vonatkozó szankciók enyhítését kérte. Az iráni hatóságok eközben figyelmeztették a hajózási társaságokat, hogy súlyos következményekkel járhat, ha nem egyeztetik előre áthaladásukat a szoroson.
