A Tisza-frakció egyhangúlag elutasította Baka András köztársasági elnök legfőbb ügyészi jelöltjét, Szathmáry Zoltánt, és új jelölt állítására kérte fel az államfőt. A háttérben vélhetően az áll, hogy Szathmáry testvére gyanúsítottként érintett az úgynevezett aranykonvoj-ügyben. Török Gábor politikai elemző úgy értékelte a helyzetet, hogy máris "eljött Baka András első szuverenitási tesztje", az államfő pedig úgy tűnik, hogy felvette a kesztyűt, ugyanis délután megerősítette, hogy ragaszkodik korábbi jelöléséhez.
