Felpörgött a globális harc a jövő nyersanyagaiért

A világ kormányai egyre aktívabban lépnek fel a kritikus ásványkincsek kitermelésének finanszírozásában: már nem csupán hitelezőként, hanem közvetlen üzleti partnerként vesznek részt bányászati projektekben. Az állami szerepvállalás új formái – tőkerészesedés, árgaranciák, hosszú távú átvételi szerződések – alapjaiban alakítják át a finanszírozási modellt, miközben Washington szövetségeseit is a Kínától független ellátási láncok kiépítésére ösztönzi. Szakértők szerint azonban a politikai szándék és a tőke önmagában nem elegendő, mivel új bányák és feldolgozóüzemek felépítése éveket vesz igénybe.
