Olyat tesznek a magyar állatvédelemben, amire még sosem volt példa

Állatjólétért felelős helyettes államtitkárság jön létre az Élő Környezetért Felelős Minisztériumon belül – jelentette be Gajdos László tárcavezető. Emellett erős, országos hatáskörű állatjóléti ellenőrző hatóságot is felállítanak. A miniszter állatvédelmi civil szervezetekkel egyeztetett a legsürgősebb feladatokról, többek között az ebrendészeti rendszer felülvizsgálatáról és az állatmenhelyek támogatásáról. A tárca a jövőben további szervezetek bevonásával folytatná a párbeszédet.
