Kiderült: ennyivel több halálesetet okozott a hőségriadó Magyarországon

Az extrém hőség súlyos következményekkel jár Magyarországon: a június végi négynapos hőségriadó alatt 224-gyel több halálesetet regisztráltak a vártnál, az áldozatok többsége 65 év feletti volt. A Nemzeti Népegészségügyi Központ adatai szerint 27 Celsius-fok feletti napi átlaghőmérsékletnél akár 30 százalékkal is többen halhatnak meg egy átlagos naphoz képest. Az Országos Mentőszolgálat terhelése is jelentősen nőtt: a harmadfokú hőségriadó idején naponta 400–450 többletriasztás érkezett. A másodfokú hőségriadó az előrejelzések szerint jövő hét keddig marad érvényben.
