Több ezren tüntettek az Audi gyárbezárása ellen

Több ezer Audi-dolgozó tüntetett szerdán a német autógyártó neckarsulmi üzemének lehetséges bezárása ellen, miközben az anyavállalat Volkswagen olyan csoportszintű átalakítást hajt végre, amely várhatóan több tízezer munkahely megszűnésével jár. A tiltakozás ráadásul azzal egy időben zajlott, hogy a rivális prémiummárka, a BMW is több ezer fős leépítést jelentett be. Ez újabb csapást jelent a német autóiparra, amelyet a magas költségek, az egyre erősödő kínai verseny és az amerikai védővámok fájdalmas szerkezetátalakításra kényszerítenek.
