Megszólalt az EKB első embere a magyar euróbevezetésről

Az Európai Központi Bank (EKB) júliusi sajtótájékoztatóján megjelent a magyar euróbevezetés és az eurózóna bővítésének kérdése, a felvetésre pedig Christine Lagarde jegybankelnök úgy reagált, hogy üdvözli minden pozitív szándékot, de a folyamat a csatlakozni vágyó országtól függ. Az euróövezet bővítése mellett a sajtótájékoztatón szóba került Bulgária magas inflációja és az euróbevezetési folyamat következményei. A jegybank vezetése szerint a bolgár árszínvonal emelkedése részben azzal magyarázható, hogy a korábban elhalasztott áremelések most gyűrűznek be a piacra.
