Ellenvéleményeket a Monetáris Tanácsba! – Javaslat a testület reformjára

A Magyar Nemzeti Bank Monetáris Tanácsában a külső tagok feladata elvileg az lenne, hogy önálló szakmai szempontokat jelenítsenek meg a kamatdöntéseknél, és szükség esetén ellensúlyt képezzenek a jegybank vezetésének álláspontjával szemben. Az elmúlt évtizedben a kamatdöntéseknél azonban gyakorlatilag eltűntek a nyilvánosan is megjelenő szakmai véleménykülönbségek. Ez annak a jele, hogy a külső tagság intézménye elveszítette eredeti funkcióját – ezért a kiválasztás rendszerének és a Monetáris Tanács összetételének újragondolását felvetve konkrét javaslatokat fogalmazok meg az MNB működési hatékonyságának erősítése érdekében.
