A vártnál jóval alacsonyabb amerikai infláció éles fordulatot hozott a devizapiacokon: a forint az inflációs adat után jelentősen erősödött, a lendület pedig még szerda reggel is tart. A dollár általánosságban is gyengébb maradt, a dollárindex 100,81 pontra süllyedt, miközben az euró 1,14 dollárig erősödött. A közel-keleti feszültségek és az olajárak emelkedése ugyanakkor továbbra is inflációs kockázatot jelent, délután pedig az amerikai termelői inflációs adhat újabb irányt a piacoknak. Dél körül úgy fest, hogy a Hormuzi-szoros körüli új feszültségek miatt inkább rosszabbul járnak a feltörekvő piaci devizák.
