Magyar Péter miniszterelnök hétfőn 13 órakor kezdte el ismertetni a kormány álláspontját az Alaptörvény tizenhetedik módosításáról hétfői napirend előtti felszólalásában. A miniszterelnök egy szombati Reddit AMA-fórumon megerősítette, hogy támogatja a köztársasági elnök közvetlen választását, és az új alkotmány kidolgozásába a társadalmat is bevonnák. Az online kérdezz-feleleken számos gazdaságpolitikai és szociális intézkedést is felvázolt, köztük új energetikai pályázatot, áfacsökkentést, célzott béremeléseket és a diákhitel kamatának mérséklését. Emellett szabályozási változásokat is előrevetített a közlekedési szankciók szigorításától a bírói kinevezési rendszer átalakításáig.
