Az ázsiai tőzsdéken pénteken jelentős esés bontakozott ki, élén a dél-koreai és japán részvénypiaccal, a befektetők profitot realizáltak a hét korábbi, mesterséges intelligenciával kapcsolatos technológiai ralija után. A hangulatot rontotta, hogy az Apple áremelést jelentett be a memóriachipek drágulása miatt, ami ismét felerősítette azokat az aggodalmakat, hogy az AI-fejlesztések növekvő költségei visszafoghatják a technológiai szektor növekedését és nyereségességét. Ennek hatására a technológiai részvények világszerte nyomás alá kerültek. A kereskedés második felére aztán sikerült visszanyerniük a lendületet az amerikai részvényeknek.
