Magyar Péter bejelentette Brüsszelben: további uniós milliárdokért harcolt meg a következő időszakra

Első alkalommal tárgyalt Magyar Péter miniszterelnökként uniós csúcstalálkozón, ahol a napirendet Ukrajna támogatása és csatlakozási folyamata, az európai védelmi képességek megerősítése, a kínai gazdasági nyomás kezelése, valamint a 2028–2034-es uniós költségvetés körüli viták határozták meg. Magyar Péter csütörtöki szereplése már egyszerre jelezte Magyarország visszatérését az uniós fősodorhoz, az Ukrajna-politika óvatos újrahangolását és az új kormány pozíciójának kijelölését a közelgő európai pénzügyi és gazdasági alkukban. A miniszterelnök jelezte, hogy a következő uniós büdzsében mintegy 3 milliárd euró, Magyarországnak járó többletforrásért harcolt a csúcstalálkozón. Az ülés után ismét lemondásra szólította fel Sulyok Tamás köztársasági elnököt az Alkotmánybíróságon történt ügy miatt. A kormányfő sajtótájékoztatón számol be a történtekről, a bejelentéseit élőben közvetítjük.
