Az AI-t ki kellene tiltani az iskolákból – tanácsolja a Nobel-díjas közgazdász

Az elmúlt néhány év geopolitikai sokkjai, különösen Oroszország ukrajnai inváziója és Donald Trump amerikai elnök támadásai a II. világháború utáni világrend ellen, élesen rávilágítottak Európa gazdasági és stratégiai sebezhetőségére. Az AI uralása terén az USA és Kína között zajló verseny tette azonban igazán nyilvánvalóvá, hogy Európa lemaradt az innováció terén, és folyamatosan csökken a versenyképessége. Ez a kérdés volt a fő témája Simon Johnson és Philippe Aghion Nobel-díjas közgazdászok beszélgetésének, amelyben az amerikai professzor töltötte be a kérdező szerepét. Beszélgetésüket két részben közöljük. Az első részben olyan kérdésekre tértek ki, mint hogy mi okozza Európa problémáit, és hogyan lehetne új lendületet adni a kontinens gazdaságának. Szóba kerültek a túlzott mértékű uniós szabályozás kedvezőtlen hatásai, valamint az, hogy a teremtő rombolás milyen szerepet tölthet be a verseny elősegítésében. Ebben a második részben főként a mesterséges intelligencia széles körű használatában rejlő lehetőségeket és veszélyeket tekintették át, amely során Philippe Aghion arra is kitért, miért lenne célszerű az AI-t kizárni az iskolákból.
