Turbóra kapcsolt a forint, miután Trump nagy bejelentést tett

A nap végérhez közeledve javult a nemzetközi befektetői hangulat, miután Donald Trump amerikai elnök váratlanul bejelentette, hogy lefújja az Irán ellen erre az estére tervezett katonai csapásokat. A geopolitikai feszültségek enyhülése kedvezett a kockázatosabb eszközöknek és a régiós devizáknak is, így a forint estére erősödni tudott: az euró jegyzése 355 környékére, a dolláré pedig 308,6 közelébe süllyedt. A befektetők emellett továbbra is figyelemmel követték az Európai Központi Bank kamatdöntését, amelynek nyomán az irányadó betéti ráta 25 bázispontos emeléssel 2,25 százalékra nőtt. Christine Lagarde jegybankelnök az iráni háború miatt emelkedő energiaárakra és a felfelé mutató inflációs kockázatokra hivatkozva indokolta a szigorítást.
