Bóna Szabolcs agrárminiszter a a közösségi médiában is bejelentette, hogy a péntek esti közlönyben már hivatalossá vált az Ukrajnából származó mezőgazdasági termékek tiltása. Ugyan arról ő is hosszan értekezett korábban, az ukrán gabona nem feltétlen veszélyeztetné a magyar termelőket, a körülmények miatt viszont mégis fontos korlátozni a behozatalát. Bóna szerint a még Fidesz-kormány alatt behozott tiltás lejárásával csapdahelyzetet teremtett, azonban a helyzet felismerése után gyorsan visszaállították a tiltásokat
