Extraprofitadók: van egy nagyon-nagyon probléma a szakértők szerint

Újra fellángolta az extraprofitadó körüli politikai vita Franciaországban a TotalEnergies 5,8 milliárd eurós negyedéves nyeresége miatt, amelyben a baloldaltól a szélsőjobbig szinte minden párt az energiacégek extra megadóztatását követeli. A korábbi francia kísérletek azonban kudarcosnak bizonyultak: a 2022-es szolidaritási hozzájárulás a vártnál töredékét hozta, a villamosenergia-különadó pedig a tervezett bevétel alig öt százalékát termelte ki. Szakértők szerint egy pusztán nemzeti szintű adó nem működőképes, mert a multinacionális vállalatok nyeresége könnyen átvándorol alacsonyabb adókulcsú országokba. A megoldás uniós szinten képzelhető el, de ehhez először pontosan meg kell határozni az extraprofit fogalmát, és el kell kerülni a 2022-es kapkodás hibáit - számolt be a L'Express.
