Hegedűs Zsolt, leendő egészségügyi miniszter a demográfiai válságot nemzetgazdasági súlyú kérdésként értelmezve egyszerre támogatja a gyermekvállalás fontosságának hangsúlyozását és bírálja a témáról zajló leegyszerűsítő vitát, különösen a szülészorvos-választás kérdésében. Álláspontja szerint a cél nem a pénzhez és kapcsolatokhoz kötött „biztonság”, hanem egy minden nő számára hozzáférhető, kiszámítható és méltányos szülészeti ellátórendszer, amelyet átlátható adatok, egységes protokollok és egyértelmű állami–magán határok támasztanak alá. Egy másik megszólalásában arra hívja fel a figyelmet, hogy a kórházi mosdók alapvető higiénés ellátása a gyakorlatban elmaradt a 2026. január 1-jétől elvárt szinttől, míg Vitézy Dávid a vasút nyári felkészülésének kényszerét emeli ki, rövid távon akár nemzetközi vasúti együttműködés szükségességét is felvetve.
