Közzétette idei harmadik kamatdöntését az Európai Központi Bank (EKB), amelyet az iráni háború nyomán kibontakozó energiaválság miatt egy kifejezetten bizonytalan környezetben kellett hoznia. A bejelentés értelmében nem változott a betéti ráta, maradt továbbra is 2 százalék. Bár a döntés maga nem okozott meglepetést, a bejelentést követő sajtótájékoztatón a befektetők kiemelt figyelemmel követik majd, hogy milyen hangnemben értékeli Christine Lagarde jegybankelnök az energiaválság gazdasági hatásait és a ma megjelent makroadatokat. Mivel az energiasokk növekedési és inflációs számszerű hatásai várhatóan csak a nyári hónapokban jelentkeznek majd, a mai sajtótájékoztató tétje a jegybanki narratíva és a 2022-es párhuzamok megalapozottsága lesz.
