Megjelent a Portfolio Checklist Extra, amiben Szabó Dániellel, a Portfolio makrogazdasági elemzőjével beszélgettünk az EU lehetséges bővítéséről. Ezt sokszor úgy kezeljük, mintha egy előre lefutó, szinte automatikus forgatókönyv lenne, holott könnyen lehet, hogy épp ez lesz Európa következő nagy politikai törésvonala. De van-e mögötte kézzelfogható politikai vagy piaci kényszer, vagy inkább érdekek és alkuk mozgatják? És egyáltalán: az alapítók valóban egy olyan Európát képzeltek el, ahol előbb-utóbb minden ország uniós taggá válhat?
Beszélgetésünkben azt is körbejárjuk, melyik jelölt áll a legközelebb a csatlakozáshoz, kiket tartanak a legnehezebben „kezelhető” szereplőknek, és hol tűnik reálisnak, hogy belátható időn belül nem várható érdemi előrelépés.
