Feljelentéssel fordult a hatóságokhoz a honvédelmi miniszter, miután fény derült arra, hogy a korábbi tárcavezetés nagyjából félmilliárd forintért vált meg 108 darab BTR típusú páncélozott szállító harcjárműtől, amelyeket Szerbiának adtak el. A BTR-ek a magyar honvédségben évtizedeken át nélkülözhetetlen alapfelszerelésnek számítottak
