Magyar Péter üzent Baka Andrásnak, az új köztársasági elnöknek

Hivatalosan is elfoglalta államfői tisztségét Dr. Baka András, a Legfelsőbb Bíróság korábbi elnöke, akit az Országgyűlés augusztus 11-én választott meg köztársasági elnöknek. A kormánypárti Tisza-frakció jelöltjének megbízatása a módosított alaptörvény értelmében az új alkotmány hatálybalépéséig, de legfeljebb öt évre szól. Beiktatása alkalmából Magyar Péter miniszterelnök is nyilvánosan köszöntötte az új államfőt.
