Rubik Ernő és Baán László is támogatja: Polgár Juditot javasolják köztársasági elnöknek

Hivatalos kezdeményezés indult Polgár Judit köztársasági elnöki jelölése érdekében, amelyet több ismert közéleti személyiség is támogat. A javaslattevők szerint a sakknagymester pályafutása és értékrendje alkalmas a legmagasabb közjogi méltóság betöltésére. Az államfőválasztási folyamat azután vette kezdetét, hogy kihirdették az Alaptörvény 17. módosítását, amely megszüntette Sulyok Tamás megbízatását, így az Országgyűlésnek 30 napon belül új elnököt kell választania.
