Megszólalt a Játékszín Balázsovits Edit közelmúltbeli nyilatkozata kapcsán, amelyben a színésznő arról beszélt, hogy az édesapja, Balázsovits Lajos halálában szerepet játszhatott az a megrázkódtatás, amely 2012-ben érte: két évtizedi igazgatói munka után felmentették a teátrum éléről. Balázsovits Edit szerint a döntés hátterében az állt, hogy valaki kiszemelte magának az édesapja pozícióját.
