Kenneth Rogoff: Ez már a valódi pánik Trump kormányában? - Vége az USA különlegességének

Már a pánik első jelei mutatkoznak Donald Trump pénzügyminisztériumában? Miközben Scott Bessent tárcavezető a nyilvánosság előtt elbagatellizálja a 40 ezer milliárd dollárosra hízott amerikai államadósságot, a háttérben trükkökkel próbálja manipulálni a kötvénypiacot. Kenneth Rogoff, a Harvard Egyetem közgazdászprofesszora szerint a fájdalommentes kilábalás csak vágyálom, a halogatott megszorítások pedig nemcsak a miniszter hitelességét, hanem a dollár globális hatalmát is fenyegetik. Szerinte a kötvénypiacot nem lehet olyan könnyen irányítani, ahogy az USA vezetői gondolják.
