Creating money in commercial banks is one of the biggest problems of the modern world economy, however, with a simple financial reform, the banking sector can be made safe, and the national economy could also benefit from it, said Michael Kumhof, former senior research manager of the IMF and the Bank of England, in an interview with Portfolio.
