A Rendőr- és Tűzoltónap alkalmából rendezett ünnepségen a héten elismeréseket adott át, majd köszöntőt mondott Pintér Sándor, aki hosszú kormányzati pályafutás után vonul le a pályáról, mikor a Tisza-kormány elkezdi működését. Beszédében hangsúlyozta, hogy a kitüntetettek példát mutatnak a teljes állomány számára, és jelentős szerepük van az elmúlt évek eredményeiben.
