A Premier League 8. fordulójának vasárnapi nyitómeccsén az Arsenal 5-1-re kiütötte az újonc Fulhamet. Lacazette és Aubameyang duplázott a londoni rangadón, az ágyúsok felléptek a tabella harmadik helyére.

A 29. percben Alexandre Lacazette szerzett vezetést a vendégeknek, André Schürrle azonban szünet előtt egalizált. A második félidőben aztán hengerelt az Arsenal, négy gólt lőtt és kiütéses győzelmet aratott.
